Launched by the African Development Bank, in partnership with Microsoft, the C4E Digital Ambassadors Program is set to train a new generation of Digital Ambassadors via a peer-to-peer training model to scale soft employability skills, business and entrepreneurship, freelancing and digital skills training to more African youth betting on them to unlock Africa’s untapped potential and bring about economic and social transformation in the digital age.

One thousand (1000) exceptional young people will be selected to undergo an intensive 3-month training cycle. At the end of the training, C4E Digital Ambassadors will be equipped with resources to enable them to redeliver these training within their local communities alongside facilitating linkages with employers, private sector partners and freelancing platforms to promote access to decent economic opportunities.

Rules & Guidelines

1 The applicant must be proficient in English or French.
2 Applications should be submitted online.
3 Applications must be completed no later than 5:00 p.m. UTC on the day of the deadline.
4 The applicant must be between 18 and 29 years of age.
5 The applicant must reside in one of the following countries: Cote d’Ivoire, Kenya, Nigeria or Senegal (The program is targeting these 4 countries for its pilot phase. Other countries will be available soon).

2 Digital Ambassadors will be asked to participate in a publication highlighting their profile and their work.
3 Digital Ambassadors will be expected to fully participate in program activities, including an obligation to redeliver the training to youth in their communities.
